Fall-Winter '21 'Al Nasij'
Art Direction
For their Fall-Winter ‘21 collection, Adish have asked us to build the concepts for all the imagery for the season. Adish’s 2021 Fall-Winter collection is inspired by the craft of Bedouin weaving (“Nasij” in Arabic) and the weaving workshop in the Bedouin village of Lakiya, with which they’ve been collaborating continuously for the past several years.

We’ve decided to split the concept into two. The first part gives an inside look to the weavers workshop and weaving process where both video and the imagery were created in the weaving workshop in lakiya. The second part is more streamlined and in complete opposite to the content created in lakiya, was shot in a studio with white background to let the clothes and handmade details take the main stage.

On the evening before the Pollex launch we’ve invited 15 influencers and close friends of Sneakerbox to our Japanese garden to take part in a workshop - a Japanese gardening technique where each participant had a chance to make their own Kokedama and get a pair of the Crocs Pollex. The workshop generated quite a buzz online and we’ve caught Salehe’s eye - resulting with him sharing a few moments from our activation.
